You can easily do an in-field replacement of the blade in the DEWALT 20V Max cordless cable-cutting tool kit by removing a wheel nut and bolt. The cutter is trigger activated， with a forward and reverse button located at thumb's reach. The battery in the DEWALT aluminum cable-cutting tool kit connects to the cutting tool in a slide slot， secured with a slide lock.
